PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that maintains an adhesive property of a photosensitive layer extremely well irrespective of the degree of contraction, and achieves both good electric characteristics and image characteristics, and a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus using the electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by laminating at least an undercoat layer, and a photosensitive layer containing a polyarylate resin on a conductive support substrate sequentially from the substrate side. The undercoat layer contains a polyamide resin including a polyether compound.
