PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device of a batteryless engine capable of reliably igniting the batteryless engine from start by a manual starting operation to a high rotational frequency zone of the engine without specially increasing a capacity of a power generation coil of a power generator.SOLUTION: In an ignition device of a batteryless engine, a transistor-type ignition control circuit 7 of an engine 1 not incorporating a battery, is operated by an output of a power generator 3 driven by the engine 1 including a manual starting device 2, and a primary coil 8a of the ignition coil 8 is energized from the ignition control circuit 7. In a low rotational frequency zone of the engine 1 less than a prescribed rotational frequency, a primary energization time from the ignition control circuit 7 to the primary coil 8a is less than a prescribed time, and in a high rotational frequency zone of the prescribed rotational frequency or more, the primary energization time is the prescribed time or more. |
