PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide leather for an air bag, which enables depth of a groove to be managed without a deterioration in appearance, which can reduce the number of man-hours for manufacture, and which can reduce the used amount of leather material.SOLUTION: Leather 5 for an air bag includes: a plate-like body part 9; a first groove 11 which is formed on the one thickness-direction surface of the body part 9, and which splits the body 9 when the air bag is unfolded; and a second groove 13 which is formed in a part on the periphery of the body part 9, as a substitute for use in measurement of the depth of the first groove 11. |
