PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing power consumption by controlling an input to a heater.SOLUTION: In a refrigerator 10 which switching-controls a state of a refrigerating/cooling operation in which a cooling medium supplied from a compressor 54 is supplied to an evaporator 58 for refrigeration, and a state of a non-refrigerating/cooling operation in which the cooling medium supplied from the compressor 54 is not supplied to the evaporator 58 for refrigeration, a heater 40 for dew condensation prevention around the refrigerator or a heater 50 for temperature compensation inside a vegetable chamber is included as heating means. The refrigerator is controlled in such a manner that during the non-refrigerating/cooling operation after the refrigerating/cooling operation, a defrosting operation mode is executed for melting the frost attached to the evaporator 58 for refrigeration by operating a blower fan 60 for refrigeration, and an electrification rate of the heating means 40 and 50 is lowered when the defrosting operation mode is terminated by stopping the operation or reducing the rotation frequency of the blower fan 60 for refrigeration from the defrosting operation mode. |
