FILTER MEDIUM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium which adsorb various kinds of microbes and viruses, having a function for effectively inactivating the microbes and viruses; and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: The filter medium is a laminate of a gas-permeable support fabric and a gas-permeable sheet. A mixture of protein-supported porous particles and a thermoplastic resin is sandwiched between the layers of the gas-permeable support fabric and the gas-permeable sheet. The thermoplastic resin is thermally fused to each of the gas-permeable support fabric and the gas-permeable sheet.
