PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of detecting, even if there is a deviation in a guide direction of a rail for guiding scanning of a recording head or a rail for guiding scanning of a colorimetric sensor, the deviation.SOLUTION: A deviation amount of a patch position is detected from a difference between a position of a patch detected by an optical sensor and a position of the patch detected by a colorimetric sensor. A skew amount of a recording medium is detected from a difference between an edge position of the recording medium detected by the optical sensor and an edge position of the recording medium detected by the colorimetric sensor. A deviation in the patch position due to a mounting error is detected by subtracting the skew amount of the recording medium from the deviation amount of the patch position. |
