PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device which can set authorization of button operations for each user.SOLUTION: A remote control device comprises: one or more buttons which also operate as an authentication information reading unit; a storage unit which stores authentication information in association with authorization information of button operations for each user; an authentication unit which determines whether authentication information read by the authentication information reading unit matches any authentication information stored in the storage unit; and a control unit which sets validity or invalidity of operated buttons on the basis of the authorization information of button operations for a user of which authentication information matches authentication information stored in the storage unit. |
