Disclosed are a bicycle rental system using a smart phone and a bicycle rental method using the same, and a bicycle recovery and rearrangement method using a manager terminal. A bicycle rental system of the present invention includes: a bicycle rack which is installed at a bicycle station, and has a public bicycle and a bicycle locking unit which is locked and unlocked, and unlocks the bicycle locking unit when bicycle rental approval information is received from a user terminal; and a management center which receives and stores public bicycle rental approval request information or public bicycle return approval request information generated in the user terminal, and transmits public bicycle rental approval information or return approval information to the user terminal. The public bicycle rental approval request information or the public bicycle return approval request information include member information stored in the user terminal, identification information of a public bicycle for rental or return and position information of the bicycle rack. The identification information of the public bicycle is recognized by photographing an optical code comprised in the public bicycle using the user terminal. |
