The method involves manufacturing a partial winding of a coil from a wire section when a winding pin (23) is wound with the wire section based on a rotating movement. Another partial winding of the coil is manufactured from another wire section of the wire when the winding pin is wound with the latter wire section based on another rotating movement that is opposite to the former rotating movement. A middle area of the wire is fixed to the winding pin between the wire sections, where the winding pin is rotated around a longitudinal axis during manufacturing of the former partial winding. An independent claim is also included for a winding machine. |
