The present invention relates to a drunkometer and more specifically, to a drunkometer which can determine whether exhalation is provided enough using sound wave generated when a testee exhales. The drunkometer according to the present invention comprises: an exhalation path in which exhalation blew by the testee is flowed; a sample gas path including a sample gas inflow pipe into which the sample gas which is a part of exhalation is flowed by being connected to the exhalation path, a sample gas chamber in which the sample gas flowed through the sample gas inflow pipe is stored and a sensing unit which can output electrical signals according to alcohol concentration is installed, and a connection pipe which connects the sample gas chamber to an inhale pump which flows fixed quantity of sample gas into the sample gas chamber; a sound wave delivering pipe which is connected to the connection pipe and delivers the sound signals generated by exhalation flowed in the exhalation path; and a microphone which outputs electrical signals by being input sound signals through the sound delivering pipe. The drunkometer according to the present invention installs the microphone in a location where the sample gas is not directly flowed in and determines whether exhalation is fully provided to the exhalation path in order to prevent the microphone from being contaminated or damaged by water vapor inside saliva or exhalation.
|
