<p>A method for operating a USIM application by connecting a common USIM application with a separate ADF, and an SE using the same are provided. A method for operating a USIM application according to an embodiment of the present invention includes selecting one among a plurality of ADFs and connecting the selected ADF to an application for processing a USIM-related command. Accordingly, the application for processing a USIM-related command can be realized in common, and only ADFs can be separately realized, thereby using and managing the storage space of a USIM card more efficiently in supporting that a plurality of mobile communication services can be enabled by using one USIM card.
