PURPOSE: A shelf support is provided to support the load of a shelf with the composition of a pipelike body, an upper compression part and a lower compression part and to function as a book end. CONSTITUTION: A shelf support comprises a pipelike body (101), an upper compression part (110), and a lower compression part (120). The body includes inserting holes (102) formed on a top end and a bottom end. Helices are formed on the inner surfaces of the inserting holes. The upper compression part includes a helix formed on the outer surface of a support (111) to be screw-combined with the inserting hole formed at the top of the body and includes a compression unit (112) at the end of the support. The lower compression part includes a helix on the outer surface of the support (121) to be screw-combined with the inserting hole formed at the bottom of the body and includes a compression unit (122) at the end of the support. |
