In the present invention, content provided by a DLNA server is tagged to search for additional metadata, and the searched data is provided to a user. A content metadata providing method of a vehicle AV system according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving content and metadata from a DLNA server device; confirming whether the received metadata includes all of pre-designated necessary metadata; if not so, tagging the received content; searching for metadata of the tagged content via the Internet; and displaying the searched metadata.
