<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating ballast water for ships with ultraviolet rays, and more particularly, to an apparatus for treating ballast water with ultraviolet rays, having an upper lid for installation and replacement of components in the body of said apparatus, wherein the cross-section of the body of the apparatus is vertical to the direction of insertion of ultraviolet light lamps and is square, and in which an installation and maintenance hole for installation and replacement of components of a washing unit in the internal space of the body, and an upper lid for opening/closing the installation and maintenance hole are provided to enable efficient installation and replacement. Furthermore, partitions for separating the body of the apparatus into a space in which the ballast water flows and a space in which the ballast water does not flow are formed integrally with the body. The arrangement of the ultraviolet light lamps forms a plurality of lines, and the ultraviolet light lamps in each line are arranged within the space between the ultraviolet light lamps in the line in front of or behind said line, thus improving efficiency of treatment of ultraviolet rays.</p> |
