A motor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate coupling and manufacture of inner and outer stator cores by using a fixed frame, thereby improving work efficiency. A method for manufacturing a motor includes the steps of: punching a steel sheet in a shape in which a plurality of division core plates are arranged so that tooth units face and cross each other(A1); forming inner and outer stator cores by stacking, bending, and connecting the punched division core plates(A2); and coupling the inner stator core inside the outer stator core. The step of coupling the inner stator core inside the outer stator core includes the steps of: coupling a fixed frame having protrusion units at predetermined intervals to upper portions or lower portions of the inner and outer stator cores(A3); and inserting the protrusion units between the inner and outer stator cores. |
