A lifting door comprising a lifting device 3 for an enclosure 8 for a bath in a hot-dip galvanising system comprises a door 2 and a lid 1 pivotally attached to said door. The lid is attached to the door along a horizontal shaft 5 about which the lid can pivot such that in use the lid can either cover the galvanizing system or be raised to expose the surface of a galvanising bath. The addition of an easily opened and closed lid can reduce heat loss during galvanization. |
