An anaerobic digestion system by an embodiment of the preset invention comprises the following: an anaerobic digestion tank including an organic sludge in which biogas generating microorganisms are dispersed; an ultrasonication device for emitting low intensity ultrasonic waves to the biogas generating microorganisms; a membrane separation device for returning the organic sludge contained in anaerobic digestion liquid of the organic sludge generated by the biogas generating microorganisms to the anaerobic digestion tank; and a control device controlling the ultrasonication device to intermittently emit the low intensity ultrasonic waves in predetermined emission intensity for a predetermined amount of time, and controlling the returning rate of the organic sludge in response to the filtration amount based on the membrane contamination of the membrane separation device.
