The present invention relates to a metal bond of a segment for diamond tools with excellent durability and cutting performance, which is capable of reducing manufacturing costs of diamond tools since expensive Co materials used for manufacturing a segment are reduced, and a method for manufacturing the same. A metal bond is manufactured with mixed powder comprising CCo powder, Fe powder, Cu powder, Mn powder, W powder, and Ag powder. Mixed powder of a metal bond for manufacturing a segment of diamond tools is manufactured by mixing Co with metal powder having various properties. Therefore, production costs of the diamond tools are reduced by reducing expensive Co materials, and durability is increased and cutting force is excellent in comparison with an existing metal bond which consists of Co.
