A method (22) for improving the signal integrity of a data transfer line (7, 42, 43) in a time synchronised data transfer system (1, 29, 39) is suggested, wherein at least one equalizer (32, 33, 34, 35) is provided for the data transfer line (7, 42, 43). A training phase (15, 22) is used, in which a training cycle (23, 25) for adjustment of the settings of the equalizer (32, 33, 34, 35) is performed. The adjustment of the settings of the equalizer unit (32, 33, 34, 35) is based on transmitting test data via the data transfer line (7, 42, 43) to be trained and comparing the test data with comparative data that is transferred via a safe transmission channel (4, 5). |
