The present invention relates to a battery protection circuit and a battery pack including the same. The battery protection circuit comprises: a control circuit which detects the failure of a bear cell; and a switching unit which includes at least one transistor for controlling the charging and discharging of the bear cell. At least one transistor, which is formed with an integrated circuit and is included in the switching unit, is connected to a connection terminal in which a control electrode is exposed to the outside. According to the present invention, turn-on resistance of a transistor for the charging and discharging control is easily changed by equipping with a terminal capable of being connected to the control electrode of the transistor for the charging and discharging control. Therefore, the present invention provides the battery protection circuit and the battery pack including the same capable of effectively managing a battery. |
