The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of making data communication by using a wireless signal and a data communication system using the same. The data communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a first terminal having a first display unit for outputting screen image information; and a second terminal capable of making data communication by using a short-range radio signal. The first terminal transmits, to the second terminal, data corresponding to at least a portion of the screen image information as the first terminal approaches the second terminal. The second terminal outputs data, which are received from the first terminal, to a screen image display region of a second display unit provided in the second terminal corresponding to a position in which the first terminal approaches the second terminal.
