[Also in Division B5] Cuts in the outer ply only of a diamond-fold multi-ply bag provide side flaps 15, 16 (Fig. 23) of rectangular form, this ply being folded after the others with the flap 16 directly over the flap 15. The remaining plies may be secured together at their ends. The corner tabs 28 of the outer ply are folded outwardly until the side flaps of the inner plies have been folded. The cuts forming the rectangular flaps in the outer ply may be moved inwardly from the position shown so that the corner flaps 28 are wider than the bottom of the bag. A valve may be provided at one corner of the bag. |
