Method and device for the synchronous determination of the rheological and acoustic properties

The method involves providing a rheometer (1) on which transducer (6a) and acoustic sensor (6b) for transmitting and receiving acoustic pulses (7) are arranged. The sample (3) of material introduced into rheometer is pressurized at specific temperature, to determine flow property of material sample by rheometer, and sound transmission properties of the material sample by sound generator and acoustic sensor. The determined flow property and acoustic transmission property of material sample are correlated. An independent claim is included for rheometer for reheological determination of flow property of sample of material.
