The method involves connecting multiple conductors to electrical contact elements (7,8) of an electrical coupling portion (K) mounted at the end of an electrical line (1). An annular groove is formed in the circumferential direction of a casing. A protective housing (9) is injection molded with insulating material around a connecting point between the conductors and the contact elements. An O-ring (10) is placed with a corresponding pretension against the lateral borders of the groove in the casing, and is connected tightly with the protective housing in a moisture proof manner.
