An apparatus (1) for abrasive blasting comprises a housing (2) engageable around a tubular surface (6) to be blasted. The housing (2) forms a blasting chamber (13) with the surface (6) and comprises a blast nozzle (20) arranged to direct grit (26) towards the tubular surface (6). A suction extraction port (18) in the housing (2) is arranged to remove grit (26) and waste material from the blasting chamber (13). A rebound surface (28) within the housing (2) is arranged to bounce the grit (26) rebounding from the tubular surface (6) back towards the tubular surface (6). The apparatus (1) further comprises means (14) for rotating the apparatus (1) around the tubular surface (6). |
