When a body composition is measured by an earphone in a body composition analyzer and a smart device through data communication, the connection between the earphone plug of the body composition analyzer and the earphone port of the smart device is checked. A current is outputted though an electrode which is in direct contact with the body of a testee. A measurement signal is generated by measuring the electrical resistance of the body of the testee by the current of the electrode. The measured signal is changed into a digital data signal. The digital data signal is outputted through the output terminal of the ear phone plug.
