<p>According to a method of managing a memory to receive a multi-channel HARQ packet of the present invention, in an HARQ communication system utilizing many channels, a memory of a receiver is maintained in small size, communication is smoothly made, and costs are saved. The method of managing an HARQ receive memory according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of storing received multi-channel HARQ packets in a temporary memory and decoding the multi-channel HARQ packets to determine the occurrence of errors (Step 1); determining a storage priority for the HARQ packets having errors (Step 2); and storing the HARQ packets having errors in a storage memory according to the determined storage priority (Step3). A receiver of the multi-channel HARQ packet according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a temporary memory for temporarily storing the multi-channel HARQ packets transmitted from a transmitter; a decoder for decoding the HARQ packets stored in the temporary memory; a storage memory for storing, deleting, and moving the HARQ packets according to the control of a control unit; and the control unit for performing a control operation to determine the storage priority for HARQ packets having decoding errors and storing the HARQ packets having decoding errors in the storage memory.</p> |
