Outdoor wireless modem and signal processing method thereof

Disclosure herein is related to an outdoor wireless modem (40) and a signal processing method thereof. The outdoor wireless modem (40) is particularly disposed in the midst of and bridging a local-area network (408) and a wide-area network established by a mobile communication network. One of the objectives of the invention is to provide a solution replacing the present last mile connection. According to one of the embodiments, main circuit of the outdoor wireless modem (40) includes a radio-frequency module (401) and a baseband module (403). The baseband module (403) includes at least two processing circuits (41, 42) for respectively processing the signals over the mobile communication network and the packets over the local-area network (408). The processing circuits (41, 42) are packaged into one module according to the design. Further in one embodiment, a bandwidth integration unit (70) is introduced to the modem (40). The bandwidth integration unit (70) serves to achieve load balance and bandwidth integration.
