The mixer has amplitude balanced mixing cells i.e. mixers (4, 5), mixing amplitude balanced input signals (RF1, RF2) with amplitude balanced reference signals (OL1, OL2) to create intermediate usage signals (FI1, FI2), respectively. A programmable phase shifter (35) shifts a phase of a signal of an adjustable phase using a remote control, where the adjustable phase is chosen such that undesirable mixed products between the input and reference signals are added in phase opposition in a combiner (2). The phase shifter is arranged in the combiner or one of dividers (1, 3). An independent claim is also included for a method for eliminating an assembly of intermodulation products parasitizing an intermediate signal obtained by a mixer. |
