The water analysis measuring instrument (10) has a closed buffer solution housing (20) with a hydrogen ion concentration buffer solution (24), which is connected over a flow key (22) with an aqueous medium, a reference electrode (16) in the buffer solution housing and a high impedance amplifier (53) with a capacitive element (57) between reference electrode and amplifier load. The amplifier load lies on a load electrode (12), which stands in direct contact with aqueous medium. The ions or ionic connections are hydrogen, chlorine, sodium, potassium, sulfate, ammonium, phosphate or nitrate.
