Process uses an installation which has an application machine (1) in which an imaging adhesive layer is applied to the press sheet. It has a coating machine (2) with counter pressure cylinder (4) and press cylinder (3) forming a transfer gap (6). Here the carrier film with coating under pressure is fed past the press sheet, so that the coating adheres to the adhesive. A second device applies a full or part protective coat to the press sheet.
