Disclosed is a parameter estimation device for an induction motor. The estimation device given in the present invention receives an output from a current control unit and d-axis current and q-axis current on a synchronization coordinate system applied to an induction motor, determines an error in the resistance of a rotor, and calculates an error between the outputted resistance and the nominal resistance of the rotor.
