The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating ballast water with ultraviolet rays, in which partitions for separating the body of the apparatus into a space in which the ballast water flows and a space in which the ballast water does not flow and supporting both ends of ultraviolet light lamps are formed integrally with the body, thus enabling the apparatus to be installed or replaced without complex assembly which requires coupling the partitions to the body. Furthermore, a lamp insertion hole formed in one partition and a lamp insertion hole formed in another partition are coaxially formed to prevent deviation of a concentric axis between the lamp insertion holes during the assembly process of coupling the partitions to the body. The cross-section of the body of the apparatus for treating ballast water with ultraviolet rays, which is vertical to the direction of insertion of the ultraviolet light lamps, is square. The apparatus has an installation and maintenance hole for installing and replacing components of a washing unit in the internal space of the body, which is formed by four surfaces enveloping the four edges of the square cross-section and the partition, and an upper lid for opening/closing the installation and maintenance hole, thereby enabling simple and efficient installation and replacement. |
