A basket and a dish washer using the same are provided to vary the receiving width in the transverse direction by the sliding support unit and the receiving width in the longitudinal direction by the first and second supports of the sliding support unit. A basket for dishwasher includes a basket frame(171), a sliding support unit, a fixed support unit, and a locking device(600). The sliding support unit is installed to move on the basket frame. The fixed support unit is installed on one or both sides of the sliding support unit to receive tableware together with the sliding support unit. The locking device is installed on the basket frame to limit the movement of the sliding support unit. |
