The invention relates to a warning device for motor vehicles, having a flexible element extending from a first end to a second end (10a, 10b), and which is made of at least two materials, that is, a material in a signal color and a reflecting material. In the area of the first end (10a) of the flexible element, at least one first magnet element (30a) is arranged, and in the area of the second end (10b) of the flexible element, at least one second magnet element (30b) is arranged, wherein both magnet elements (30a, 30b) are permanently connected to the flexible element. In order to be able to use the warning device in a very flexible way and to make incorrect use virtually impossible, the flexible element is a strip (10) and is configured such that the length thereof from the first end to the second end is at least three times the width thereof. Furthermore, the entire flexible element is configured to have two layers, and at least the second magnet element (30b) is configured so as to serve as a weight. |
