The method involves performing continuously controlled and targeted extraction of dump gas using a gas collection system of a waste dump (1) in such a manner that organic reaction potential of the waste dump is predominantly and aerobically cleared. Displacement of the methane-/carbon dioxide balance is carried in a landfill body. Oxygen is provided by extraction of ambient air into a dump body (3) for adjustment of mining conditions. Oxygen supply is provided by the extraction of the dump gas. Air entry points of the waste dump are provided in connection with atmosphere. |
