The present invention relates to an additive for a cement composition containing a cross-linked polycarboxylic copolymer, and to a cement composition containing the same. The additive contains a polycarboxylic copolymer and/or salt thereof, and the polycarboxylic copolymer is a copolymer of a monomer mixture containing: an alkoxy polyalkylene glycol mono(meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomer; a (meth)acrylic acid-based monomer; and 5 to 20 alkylene oxide groups, and comprises a cross-linking agent having two or more acrylate groups or vinyl groups. The additive for the cement composition may regulate a cross-linking structure so as to improve the initial water-reducing ability and retentivity of the cement composition, thus enabling the cement composition to have superior workability over a long period of time. |
