<p>The present invention relates to a protective cover for a portable terminal device. To achieve the above-described objectives, a protective cover providing bi-directional and multi-angular support according to preferred embodiments of the present invention relates to a protective cover for protecting a portable terminal device and comprises: a protective cover receiving the portable terminal device on an inner surface thereof; and a supporting sheet for supporting a portable terminal device. The supporting sheet is installed in a recess formed in the outer surface of the protective cover, is tilted with respect to a recessed line formed in a lattice, and has a portion thereof pressed against the protective cover and the remaining portion thereof spread apart from the protective cover and contacting the floor so as to hold up the weight of the portable terminal device. According to the present invention, user convenience can be improved because a portable terminal device can be supported at many different angles according to various user applications and preferences, and because the portable terminal device can be supported in horizontal and vertical directions. Also, with respect to attaching and detaching the protective cover and the supporting sheet, the present invention can improve the reliability of a device because it has virtually no electrical or physical effects on the functions and operation of a portable terminal device. In addition, because the supporting sheet is installed on the outer surface of the protective cover and because structures and parts affiliated with the supporting sheet are installed between the outer surface of the cover and the supporting sheet, a separate space and thickness for a supporting device is not required, such that the present invention can make a device thinner, simplify the manufacturing process, and lower costs.</p> |
