PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light emitting body 2 which is transparent in the plate thickness direction at the time of turning off and lights brightly at the time of emitting light, and which is bright while using a base material a little inferior in transparency although having superior flame retardancy and impact resistance.SOLUTION: The plane light emitting body 2 uses a transparent base material containing light diffusion particles 22 and has a structure in which light is guided in the length direction of the transparent base material while scattering light in the thickness direction of the transparent base material. The light emitting body is made of two layers or more of laminated body consisting of a transparent base material A and a transparent base material B of which light transmission performance is inferior to the base material A, and at least the transparent base material B contains the light diffusion particles 22. |
