The bolt i.e. bone screw (1), has a bolt shank cylindrically formed over its entire longitudinal extension. A symmetrical V-thread is provided with thread diameter that is constant over the entire longitudinal extension, where ratio of thread depth to the thread diameter is 0.10 to 0.15. The bolt shank has a thread pitch per millimeter over its entire longitudinal extension, where the ratio of thread depth to thread diameter multiplied with the number of thread pitches per millimeter provides a value between 0.10 and 0.30. |
