The present invention relates to a perfume composition for expressing a fragrance of an extract of gardenia flowers in the Rubiaceae family, and a skin external application composition containing the perfume composition. The present invention enables users to apply the fragrance of gardenia flowers, which lack an abundance in essential oils, to fragrance products (a perfume, a tonic, a body wash, etc.) utilizing functions of native wild plants by mixing raw ingredients that can be readily obtained locally and internationally.
