The present invention relates to a mat and a manufacturing method thereof, and, more specifically, to a mat and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the mat comprises: a polyolefin-based foam body formed into a plane; and a nonslip layer formed on at least one side of the polyolefin-based foam body, wherein the nonslip layer is made from a mixture of an elastomer, a polyolefin resin, and an anti-static agent. According to the present invention, a nonslip layer containing an anti-static agent is included in a mat so that the mat can be prevented from slipping on a floor; the generation of static electricity is prevented so that dust does not adhere to the mat; dust can be easily removed from the mat even if adhering to the mat; and a foam body is manufactured and the nonslip layer is formed at the same time so that manufacturing costs can be reduced and production efficiency can be improved.
