A process for synthesis of fluorides of rare-earth elements of lower oxidation rates includes high temperature reduction of trifluoride of rare-earth element with same rare-earth element by means of solid-phase interaction between components at ratio of (mol.) LnF:Ln=(1.9-2.0):1, where Ln=Sm, Eu, Yb, Tm) at step by step heating with further cooling in mode of switched off furnace. The duration of isothermal holding in said temperature intervals makes (0.3-0.5) and (0.6-0.8) h/g of reaction mixture and the size of particles of reducing agent does not exceed 1.5 mm. |
