METHOD FOR PRESERVING CUT-OFF FLOWERS IN FRESH CONDITION

A method for preserving cut-off flowers includes arranging flower stems into a container with water or a nutrient medium. A solution for preserving the flowers comprises water with a level of pH from 3 to 5 and from 10 g to 30 g sugar per 1 l water. In doing so the flowers are preserved in a cooling chamber, transparent from all sides or from several sides or one side, at a temperature from 0 °C to +10 °C.
