A method of sheltering low-level radioactive waste includes successive laying and compacting lower waterproof screen and waste and sheltering the latter with an upper waterproof screen. A lower waterproof screen is located under soil-plant surface, and the upper waterproof screen has a layered structure consisting of a layer of gravel of capacity of at least 0.5 m, a layer of low permeable loam of capacity of not less than 1.0 m and a layer of humus soil of capacity of 0,1-0,3 m. |
