The present invention relates to an embedded hatch apparatus for a ship comprising: a deck which has an opening part, a stepped jaw formed along the circumference of the opening part, and a receiving part disposed at one side of the opening part and having an upper end portion which is opened; and a cover part which includes a rotary shaft rotatably disposed in the receiving part, is rotated on the rotary shaft to open and close the opening part, and has gaps respectively formed at both sides thereof between the cover part and the deck to prevent the cover part from being caught to the deck during rotation and a sealing member disposed on the circumferential surface thereof in such a way as to be sealed when the stepped jaw touches the sealing member. Even though the gaps are formed between the cover part and the deck so that the cover part is rotated easily, upper and lower spaces of the deck can be sealed when the cover part closes the opening part so as to prevent the lower portion of the deck from being waterlogged, such that apparatuses, such as an engine, can be protected in safety. |
