The present invention relates to a process for improving the efficiency of a coating in manufacturing a separator. The present invention provides a process of manufacturing a separator which includes a mixture process for forming a polymer coating solution containing inorganic particles and binders in a solvent, a dispersion process for increasing the dispersion of the coating solution by applying ultrasonic vibration to the polymer coating solution, and a coating process for forming a polymer coating layer by spraying the polymer coating solution onto a porous substrate.
