PARALLELEPIPED-LAS, VERTICAL MESHED ONE-PIECE ENDOPROSTHESIS OF VERTEBRA FOR ANTERIOR SPONDYLODESIS

摘要

The vertical meshed endoprosthesis of the vertebra for the anterior spondylodesis is designed as the hollow perforated rod with the through lateral apertures located in tiers, in periphery of each tier. The ends of the rod are toothed with the teeth being generated when the length of endoprosthesis was adjusted by cutting the lower and upper aperture tiers. The cavity of the rod is filled with crushed bone or ceramic material. The endoprosthesis is designed as one-piece body combining the rod in the shape of parallelepiped with one of its facets extended relative to other three facets generating the plate originating from the free ends of the extended facets of the rod allowing for fastening the vertical meshed endoprosthesis to the bodies of vertebrae adjacent to the resected one.
