Disclosed is a film separating apparatus for a flat panel display. The film separating apparatus for a flat panel display according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a glass bonding film receiving unit which receives a glass bonding film in contact with the glass of the glass bonding film formed by bonding a film to one side of the glass; a film gripping unit which grips the film received in the glass bonding film receiving unit; and a glass and film separating unit which is connected to the glass bonding film receiving unit to be transferable and separates the glass bonding film into the glass and the film by slanting the glass bonding film receiving unit at a preset angle and transferring the unit after the film is gripped by the film gripping unit.
