The invention relates to machine-building, to units and parts of machines, in particular to transmissions for transfer of rotary motion, and can be used in gears of different machines where suppression of excess energy is needed, for instance, in gears of handling machines. A cylindrical reducer with brake wheels has a body wherein shafts are installed with possibility of rotation in bearings, on the shafts involute screw pinions and wheels brought into engagement are fixed, and the pinions and the wheels of the high-speed and low-speed transmissions of the reducer are arranged as brake ones. |
